This postcard features a beautiful image of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which is located on Fifth Avenue at 50th Street in New York City. It is considered the leading Catholic Church in the city and is known for its grandeur. The Cathedral was built with American marbles in a modified French Gothic style. The cornerstone was laid in 1858, and it was dedicated in 1879 and consecrated in 1910. The Cathedral underwent restoration in 1947.
