Today, we are excited to share with you a stunning piece from our collection – “The Building of a Palace” by Piero di Cosimo. This Italian artist, born in 1461 or 1462, created this masterpiece between 1515 and 1520. The oil on panel painting measures 32 1/2 × 77 1/2 inches and is a true testament to Piero di Cosimo’s talent and skill.
This artwork was generously bequeathed to our museum by John Ringling, a prominent figure in the art world and a lover of all things beautiful. We are honored to display this piece in our museum and share it with art enthusiasts like yourself.
