The shrine was largely funded by contributions from his listeners and is known for its massive crucifix, the largest in the world. The postcard is dated August 5, 1931, and is addressed to Mrs. Fiα. Davis in Detroit. The sender mentions visiting with family and enjoying their time, wishing the recipient was there. The sender expresses their love for the city and signs off as Edua from Pueblo, Colorado.
