Band of Sheep Grazing Along Highway Right-of-Way: A Picturesque Scene in Western Mountain-Plains Country
Greetings from G-301! I recently came across a beautiful sight while traveling through the typical western mountain-plains country. A band of sheep was moving to new grazing land, and they were making their way along the highway right-of-way. The scene was truly picturesque, with the sheep dotting the landscape as they made their way to their destination.
The colors of the landscape were stunning, with the mountains in the background and the vast plains stretching out before me. It was a peaceful and serene moment, one that I will not soon forget.
The image on this postcard captures the beauty of that moment perfectly. The color reproduction by Pikes Peak Lithographing Co. in Colorado Springs, Colo., is truly remarkable. It almost feels like a painting by Rembrandt himself.
I hope you enjoy this postcard as much as I enjoyed witnessing this scene in person. It’s moments like these that remind me of the beauty and wonder of the world around us.
Until next time,
Sose
