Greetings from Tullamore! This postcard comes to you from the home of Tullamore Whiskey and Irish Mist Liqueur. Tullamore is an industrial town with a rich history and plenty of amenities for visitors to enjoy.
One of the highlights of Tullamore is Hayes Hotel, a historic establishment with a long-standing reputation for hospitality. The hotel offers a range of activities for guests, including shooting and fishing, pitch and putt, a championship golf course, and a swimming pool. For those arriving by boat, there are berthings available on the Grand Canal, which runs from Dublin to the Shannon.
During our stay in Tullamore, we experienced some less than ideal weather, but each day brought improvements. The plane crossing was smooth, and we are hopeful that our return journey will be just as pleasant.
